Kneeboard is a relatively new water sport that resembles water skiing. Riding is done using a surfboard, with your knees resting on the board. A motor boat pulls the board at high speeds.
Water skiing skills help, but the experience is very different. The kneeboard allows for much more control over the waves, the posture and of course, the pirouettes!

Location: Batak Dam (110km from Sofia and 50km from Plovdiv)
Period 1 July to 31 August.
You can combine the experience with a walk to the town of Batak, visit the Snejanka Cave (9km.), Peristera Fortress, Peshtera (12km.), Beglika Dam (18km.).
Requirements: 110kg. maximum weight., 14 years minimum age. Persons under 18 with the presence of one of the parents.
