Culinary adventure and traditions with Baba Deshka

The jolly master of local delicacies, Grandma Deshka who you may know from the reality show "Fermata" welcomes you to her guest house in the village of Gorno Draglishte. At her home, located no more than 10km from Bansko awaits you a very warm welcome with homemade rakia. You will then dress in handmade colorful costumes (nosii), learn the secrets of local tastes and food, immerse yourself in traditions! Of course Baba Deshka will treat you to a generous tasting menu with local cuisine!

The experience includes:

• A very warm welcome with rakia tasting
  
• Dressing up in traditional costumes
  
• Demonstration and workshop for a traditional craft: choose from weaving, creating a traditional souvenir, etc.
  
• Cooking demonstration with Baba Deshka: prepare one meal such as traditional dessert, Yalova banitsa (patry), patatnik (a dish with potatoes), homemade dips, meat dish with sour cabbage, baked beans.
  
• A tale or re-enacting a traditional custom (e.g. traditional wedding ceremony)
  
• One lunch or dinner

Ideas: Visit the nearby park for bears or the Sv. Teodor Tiron and Sv. Teodor Stratilat church in Dobarsko village, where you will find some amazing frescos. Or simply do a hike through one of the many eco trails around.

• for a child 5-12 years old - BGN 50/night
• for a 3-rd adult in a room - BGN 70/night
