Forest offroad safari and wildlife watching

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city with an exciting wildlife offroad adventure near Sofia! The Eledzhik Game Reserve has been breeding wild animals for 60 years. There are red deer, fallow deer, mouflon, roe deer, wild boar, predators, and more! The area is home to ancient trees, mountain streams, berries, herbs and mushrooms. 

During the off road jeep safari, you will enjoy an unforgettable day outside! Hop on one of these powerful machines for a lovely ride throughout the forest, where you may encounter unique animal species. During the experience, you will learn more about the local wildlife from an experienced guide!

The experience is suitable for both couples and families with children and offers wonderful relaxation and time in nature, near Sofia. Please find more information about the experience schedule below.

• Jeep offroad tour (1h) with a special wildlife watching stop. Please choose the number of participants from the drop-down menu
• Experienced guide
• Outdoor free play

Schedule: 

• We start at 10:00 from the parking lot of the Farm. You should be with us 15 minutes early to have time for brief instructions.
• We set off with the jeeps on a half-hour forest safari to admire the wild inhabitants of the forest from the move.
• We stop to observe the wild animals from a gazebo, where you will spend about 30 minutes. You will be able to learn interesting facts about the breeding and raising of animals from our professional guide, while enjoying a sip of aromatic tea or coffee.
• We set off on a 30-minute safari back to the farm parking lot.

Important:

• The experience is offered during the period: April - October (for groups of up to 4 people and good weather, available year-round) 7 days a week;
• Duration: from 10 AM to 12 PM
• Clothing – it is important to be dressed according to the season, and even in summer, we recommend long pants. Choose layers (short, long sleeves, so that you can take off a piece of clothing if you get warmer during the hike). Comfortable, closed, flat shoes (platforms, slippers, etc. are extremely unsuitable). During the dry season, the jeeps get quite dusty – be prepared to get dirty./
