Ceramics course for children

This ceramics course for children offers a delightful, hands-on adventure where young makers can freely explore clay in a supportive, art‑therapy-inspired space. Working with both white and red clay, children create unique forms, paint them with vibrant glazes, and finish with firing—all provided in a cozy, small‑group setting led by Milena Yordanova Ivanova.

Working with clay improves sensory and motor development, boosts cognitive growth and creativity, and encourages self-expression. This workshop helps children to unplug, unwind, and joyfully craft something distinctive—whether for their home, as a gift, or simply for the love of making. With individual guidance from Milena, every child feels supported and free to bring their imagination to life in a nurturing artistic community.

The experience includes:

• 1 or 2 80‑minute lessons of clay modeling, coloring, glazing, and firing
• All materials: white/red clay, colorful glazes, kiln firing
• Guidance by a professional artist
• Creation of 1–2 individual pieces
• Small group (up to 8 children) with personal attention
• Supportive, emotionally safe atmosphere based on art‑therapy principles

About the artist: 

Milena Yordanova Ivanova is a ceramic artist (and a supervised art therapy consultant). She creates spaces for spontaneous expression, joy from the material and emotional recharge through the creative process.

Important information:

• Suitable for children over 5 years old 
• The voucher is for one child
• The items are glazed and received after about 2-3 weeks
  
• Preliminary booking is mandatory

Cancellation policy:

• Free cancellation up to 3 days before the event
• If canceled later or in case of no-show - 50% of the amount of the voucher will be deducted
