Each of the Seven Rila lakes has its own name—The Tear (Salzata), The Eye (Okoto), The Kidney (Babreka), The Twin (Bliznaka), The Trefoil (Trilistnika), Fish Lake (Ribnoto Ezero), and The Lower Lake (Dolnoto Ezero)—interconnected by streams and small cascades.
