Lecturer: Chef Nikolay Nemigenchev

Chef Nikolay Nemigenchev is a lawyer by education and a chef by vocation. His passion for cooking dates back to early childhood. Today, he leads culinary courses for amateur cooks, works on projects related to tasting dinners both in Bulgaria and abroad, and runs his own business developing the concept of street food, striving to break the stereotype that street food equals junk food by proving that it can be fine dining. He is a member of the board of the Association for Accessible and Quality Food, which serves as a mediator between government institutions, businesses, and end consumers. The association is the only one in Bulgaria that is part of SAFE Food Advocacy Europe, a highly trusted body within the European Commission on matters related to food quality. Chef Nemigenchev believes in the potential of the farm-to-table concept, which he sees as fundamental to placing Bulgaria on the global culinary map. Every Saturday and Sunday, he is a culinary host on BTV’s morning show, as well as the host of a culinary segment on BTV Radio.
