Kayaking on the Danube – from Nikopol to Svishtov
Day 1: Participants meet at 9:00 AM at the port in Svishtov. You leave your cars there and transfer by minibus to the town of Nikopol. After a safety briefing, crew assignments, and loading your luggage into the kayaks, you set off around 12:00 PM. Along the way, you visit the rock-hewn church “St. Stephen,” carved into the cliffs right on the riverbank. You pass by numerous Danube islands - Gradina, Lakut, Palets, Golyam Katunar, Malak Katunar, and more. You stop for a break and a swim on a wild sandy island. Then you continue to your overnight spot - the tip of Persin Island. You set up tents, gather firewood, and prepare dinner by the campfire.
Day 2: After breakfast and a refreshing drink, you continue downstream along the great river. You stop at the beautiful Milka Island for a break and a swim. You pass Persin Island and finish just below the port of Svishtov.

Kayaking on Alexander Stamboliyski Reservoir – a perfect nature escape
Day 1:
Participants meet at 10:00 AM in the center of the village of Gorsko Kosovo (Suhindol municipality). You continue by car to the reservoir entry point. A briefing and short training session for beginners are provided, followed by crew assignments. Around 11:30 AM, you head toward the upper part of the reservoir, passing through a formation locals call “The Dardanelles.” You can stop anytime for rest, food, or a swim. How far you go depends on the group’s preference and fitness level. You return to the starting point and set up camp for the night, followed by an evening by the campfire.
Day 2:
After breakfast and a refreshing drink, you head toward the lower part of the reservoir, reaching the dam wall—where the views are truly impressive. Along the way, there’s a charming waterfront spot where you can stop for fries, fish, beer, or whatever you feel like. You return to camp, pack up your gear, and depart in the late afternoon.
