Instructor: Chef Nikolay Nemigenchev

Chef Nikolay Nemigenchev – a lawyer by education, a chef by calling. Every Saturday and Sunday, he is the culinary host of BTV’s morning show. His passion for cooking started in early childhood. Today, he leads cooking courses for amateur chefs, works on projects involving tasting dinners throughout Bulgaria and abroad, and runs a business that redefines street food—proving it can be fine dining rather than fast junk food.

He is a board member of the Association for Accessible and Quality Food, which acts as a mediator between government institutions, businesses, and end consumers. It is the only Bulgarian association that is a member of SAFE Food Advocacy Europe, a trusted voice within the European Commission on issues of food quality.

Chef Nemigenchev also holds a degree in food safety engineering from the University of Food Technologies and strongly believes in the “farm-to-table” philosophy. He sees it as key to placing Bulgaria on the world culinary map.
