Give yourself breathtaking views, a feast of vivid colors, and whimsical snow formations painted like angel wings along the ridge. A climb that will fill you with stunning panoramas and even more amazing emotions!

The experience includes:

• licensed mountain guide
• individual avalanche kit – beacon, shovel, probe
• mountain insurance for the duration of the program with coverage of 2000 BGN
• overnight stay in a high-mountain hut

Program:

Day 1:

Arrival in Sopot around noon by personal or shared transport. Depending on the group’s preferences, you can either hike all the way to Dobriла Hut or take the Sopot Lift and then make a short and easy walk to the hut. Accommodation and overnight stay.

Day 2:

You will wake up long before sunrise, gear up, and begin your hike by headlamp through a beautiful coniferous forest, reaching the ridge toward Ambaritsa at dawn with incredible views of the Balkan peaks and Sredna Gora to the south. The goal is to climb the final steep slopes of the summit together with the rising sun, bathing in the crimson morning light. Depending on the conditions, you will spend as much time as possible on the summit for photos, then return to the hut for a good meal before starting your descent back to Sopot.

Required personal equipment and prerequisites:
snowshoes – depending on conditions
ice axe, crampons
backpack 30–40 liters
small knife
high, three-season boots
small first aid kit – 2 elastic bandages, 2 regular bandages, emergency blanket, various adhesive bandages
2 pairs of spare socks
appropriate clothing: comfortable long pants, quick-dry T-shirt/top, thermal underwear top and bottoms, fleece, rain jacket, windbreaker, down or synthetic insulated jacket with hood, spare dry clothes
winter hat
gloves – two pairs
buff or other head/neck scarf
headlamp or flashlight
sunglasses
sunscreen
trekking poles (recommended)

The trek is suitable for beginners with basic physical fitness. All hikes are conducted with the necessary safety measures and guided by a licensed mountain guide.

Group treks on scheduled dates take place with a minimum of 4 participants. If you purchase a voucher for a group trek on a specific date but the group does not form, or if weather conditions do not allow it, the organizers will offer an alternative date and your voucher will remain valid.
