The course “First Steps in Sourdough” is created for everyone who wants to deeply understand the processes behind living bread, work with their own sourdough starter, and touch authentic bread making – slow, mindful, and with attention to every detail.

During the course:

You will learn what sourdough is and why it is a living organism
How to start your own sourdough and how to properly care for, feed, and store it
What processes take place during fermentation
The basics of sourdough bread – flours, water, time, and temperature
Common mistakes and how to avoid them
Practical advice “from the source,” gathered through years of experience
You will prepare your own sourdough starter under the guidance and advice of a master baker

HlebYana is the pseudonym and the name of the project of Yana Imreorova – one of the most recognizable Bulgarian sourdough bakers. An author, active content creator, and inspirer on social media, Yana has dedicated her path to bread as a living, spiritual, and cultural experience. “HlebYana” is her extraordinary journey into the world of baking, generously shared through seminars, words, and bread made with care and love.
