Our 8-hour accelerated course gives you all the essentials: basic cooking techniques, precise knife skills, and the rules of a safe kitchen.

The groups are small and tailored to beginners. You’ll be introduced to stocks, soups, appetizers, main dishes, and desserts that will serve as a foundation for any completely new cook. Recommendations will be given for equipment, utensils, and essential pantry ingredients.

Lecturer: Chef Nikolay Nemigenchev

Chef Nikolay Nemigenchev is a lawyer by education and a chef by calling. His passion for cooking started at an early age. Today, he leads culinary courses for amateur chefs, works on tasting dinner projects both in Bulgaria and abroad, and owns a business that develops the idea of street food. He challenges the notion that street food is junk by proving it can be fine dining. He is a member of the board of the Association for Affordable and Quality Food, which acts as a mediator between government institutions, businesses, and end consumers. This association is the only one affiliated with SAFE Food Advocacy Europe, a highly trusted body within the European Commission on issues concerning quality food. Chef Nemigenchev believes in the potential of the farm-to-table concept, which is fundamental to putting Bulgaria on the global culinary map. Every Saturday and Sunday, he hosts the morning cooking show on BTV and a culinary segment on BTV Radio.
