Welcome to DANA - home to Mediterranean, Middle Eastern and North African flavours and practices that have roamed the Balkans for centuries. The different eras that have settled in the region have influenced the exchange of food and knowledge, merging traditions and stories. One is likely to find great similarities between Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey and the Levantine region, both on and around the table. DANA prepares these similarities with attention to the products, presents them on colorful plates, and tells stories:
- About the ways we eat and how they reveal how we relate to each other and the world. About the challenge of eating with our hands and sharing food from the same plate.
- About the freedom to get your hands messy and lick our fingers and not let that be a sign of ignorance.
- About the willingness to try something different and at first glance - strange.
- About food as an expression of identity, belonging, and love.
The experience includes:
- A tasting dinner in three scenes for two: with appetizers, mains, and desserts
- A glass of wine for two or a cocktail for two
The Menu:
Scene i: Flavors created from distant recipes using local ingredients.
The spreads are served with a special ceremonial bread called Challah. Made with sourdough and seeds, it is lovingly handcrafted by Mr. Hlyab – baker, neighbor, and friend.
-Matbucha – a North African tomato, pepper & garlic spread
-Hummus – chickpeas, tahini, homemade sauces, parsley, pine nuts & olive oil
-Labneh – strained yogurt prepared according to a Levantine recipe, served with marinated olives, olive oil, za’atar & Challah bread
Scene ii. Foreign memories to share - homemade family recipes passed down through generations.
-Morocco Meets Sofia – beef meatballs with cumin, cinnamon, mint, almonds, dried cranberries, saffron cream sauce or tahini sauce & tabbouleh
-Chicken Tagine – chicken with preserved lemon, green olives, saffron, harissa, honey & mashed potatoes
-Merguez from Omaya Ranch – spicy beef sausages, caramelized eggplant, fennel, cherry tomatoes, spinach, red onion & tahini
-Fisharma – oven-baked sea bass fillet glazed with olive oil and coriander, tahini-yogurt sauce, tomato-cucumber-onion salsa with sumac and coriander & Arabic flatbread
-Just One Schnitzel – chicken schnitzel with mashed potatoes, herb butter & parsley

Something New to Share – DANA’s Experiments
-The Cauliflower – fried cauliflower on a bed of labneh, with cherry tomatoes, spinach, za’atar, olive oil, chimichurri & caramelized onions
-The New Guest – oven-caramelized eggplant, tahini, pine nuts, parsley & gremolata sauce
-Slow and Glorious – marinated pulled beef with roasted sweet potato, vegetables & chimichurri
-DANA Wants Shrimp – pan-seared shrimp with garlic, white wine, butter, smoked paprika and fresh herbs, served on muhammara with silan & breadcrumbs
-Dani Dreams – pan-seared calamari with garlic, white wine, butter, capers, cherry tomatoes & fresh herbs
Scene iii: Something for the soul or in other words - dessert. Here DANA leaves room for surprises:
- choice of 2 desserts of the day (vegan / vegetarian)
- Moroccan tea with fresh mint & pine nuts
DANA wants to hint at how to nurture generosity, empathy and attention. Both towards each other and towards what inspires us every day - the taste of good food. And in a time when divisions and borders bring alienation, distance and hostility all over the world, a table, in a family restaurant, on a seemingly ordinary evening, could become an instruction to share.
The owners of the restaurant are an international family with experience in the restaurant world. DANA is their fourth personal project, with which they want to express, in addition to love for food, the idea of a conscious conversation in a shared space. There, sound and attitude reflect our interdependence with what is happening in the social and natural environment.

Purchased and paid online vouchers are automatically sent to the e-mail specified by you within just a few moments, 24/7.
Purchased on working days until 4:00 p.m. vouchers in an envelope or box are sent with the courier company Speedy to the address specified by you. Delivery usually takes 1 working day.

From our main menu, select the "reservation" button. Fill in the form with the date and time you want. Our partners usually respond within 3 business days after a registration request is received. Expect feedback from us by email within these 3 business days. It is advisable to make the inquiry at least 7 days before the desired date.
