Treat yourself to a special sunset experience during which you will enjoy the beauty of Vourvourou and Diaporos Island and taste wonderful local wines! This kayak tour is a unique way to explore Greece! Within 3 hours you will combine two favorite activities! The tour starts every Saturday at 5 p.m. There is a short paddling through the crystal waters to the island of "Diaporos". Arriving on the island, you will have the opportunity to relax on a fabulous beach, and the organizers will welcome you with a selection of local wines, delicious cheeses and fresh fruits! During the entire tour, your instructors will be with you and will be able to share interesting information about the history, traditions and culture of the region. An unforgettable adventure with a loved one and a wonderful addition to your trip and holiday.

The experience is for two and includes:

• 3-hour kayak tour
• All necessary equipment: kayak, paddles, life jackets

Vourvourou is a small resort village located on the peninsula of "Sithonia"  - a popular summer destination for Bulgarians and foreigners. The close location to Bulgaria, the beauty of nature and hospitality of locals attract guests from all over the world. Nearby you can enjoy beautiful beaches, lagoons with turquoise waters, islands, places with delicious food!

Programme:

16:30-17:00 A briefing on safety procedures and information about the area will prepare you for paddling. Choose your single or double kayak and set off with your guides on the beautiful blue waters.

17:00-17:30 Kayaking

17:30-18:30 Free time and snorkeling

Here we have the chance to get out of the kayaks, stretch our legs and enjoy a quick refreshing swim and snorkeling in the cool waters. There is always a wide variety of sea-life to learn about including lots of fish, sea urchins, jellyfish, crabs etc.

18:30-19:30 Wine tasting

During the last part of the trip, you will take a stop at a remote beach to enjoy the amazing colors of the sunset over the Vourvourou Bay, while you enjoy some local wine and cheese, and a fresh fruit salad, made with ingredients specially selected and prepared for our guests. Moreover, we get on top of the rock formations to admire the stunning Sunset view and to capture the tranquility with our cameras!

19:30-20:00 Short paddling back

Location: Sea Kayak Halkidiki center in Vourvourou, Sithonia Halkidiki

Important: The tour is for adults aged 21+. The tour is suitable for beginners. This experience takes place during the months June-September. In case of bad weather conditions, the tour may be rescheduled. Please bring a hat, sunglasses, towel and sunscreen. Please be at the location at 16:30 PM, as the tour starts exactly at 17 PM. The tour finishes at 20:00 PM. There is a minimum number of 4 participants required for the implementation of this experience. Sea Kayak Halkidiki reserves the right to postpone or cancel the trip in case of non-completion of the required number of participants. In such cases, you will be refunded.  In case of bad weather conditions, the tour may be rescheduled.
