Culinary Course: From the Streets of Saigon to Your Kitchen

Gift yourself (or someone special) an evening where Saigon comes alive in a crispy baguette, fresh herbs, aromatic spices, and colourful rolls.

Over the course of three hours, you’ll immerse yourself in the world of Vietnamese street food and prepare two of its most iconic bites – banh mi with a crispy baguette, juicy pork, delicate chicken pâté, fresh herbs, and sweet-and-sour vegetables, as well as fresh Vietnamese spring rolls with pork and shrimp wrapped in translucent rice paper.

During the course, you’ll prepare:

• Banh mi – a crispy Vietnamese baguette filled with juicy pork, chicken pâté, fresh herbs, and sweet-and-sour vegetables.
• Vietnamese spring rolls with pork and shrimp – translucent rice paper rolls where every ingredient is beautifully visible, with freshness and lightness at the heart of each bite.
• Chicken pâté – prepared entirely in a pan and cooled to a smooth, velvety texture, perfect for spreading.
• Quick sweet-and-sour pickled vegetables with carrot and daikon – crisp, refreshing, and an essential part of the Vietnamese balance of flavours.
• Vietnamese dipping sauce – sour, sweet, salty, and mildly spicy, prepared and adjusted to your taste.
